About Aberdeen Airport

Aberdeen Airport is one of seven UK airports controlled by BAA plc (formally the British Airports Authority), it is one of the principal gateways to Scotland with from from the Northern Isles and Scandinavia and most major cities in the British Isles. The airport is situated about 7 miles north-west of the city centre. Aberdeen Airport is also the worlds largest commercial heliport with services to all the North Sea Oil fileds.

There is one passenger terminal at Aberdeen with many facilities including a range of shops both land-side and air-side, there is also a pub, several resturants, a bar and a coffee shop. Aberdeen Airport is open from 05:00 - 22:30, with arrivals and check-in both situated on the ground floor.
